Over the past few weeks, we have had tons of price increases from our suppliers.  And boy have we heard the reasons:  “The cost of cotton has gone through the roof.” “Labor costs are up,” “We have kept our prices down for several years because of the economy and now have to change them,” etc, etc.   You think of it they have told us.  Alas, because of this, we too have to increase our prices slightly for 2011.  However, we want to give each of you the opportunity to purchase some of your favorite things one more time at 2010 or below prices.  Between today, January 20^th and January 31^st we are offering 15% off every item in stock.  Come in and take advantage of this year’s good deals.

As the season changes, so does our bedding offerings.  We love to transition the light bright colors of summer to warmer and deeper colors as well as textures.  Gone are the crisp percale sheets; now we are featuring the smooth soft sateen as well as our famous ultra silky micro fiber sheets by SDH and Schlossberg of Switzerland.  Our coordinating duvet covers and quilted comforters also take on autumn themes like this elegant yet casual velveteen duvet with grapevine crewel embroidery.   The taupe color accented with blue green grape leaves and vines would be perfectly suited for many of our Northwest homes.  We have coordinated this beautiful duvet with a lagoon colored cotton sateen stitched quilt by Bagni Volpi Noemi linens (one of our favorites), and layered on a few simple linen decorative striped pillows and a scrumptious cashmere throw for the foot of the bed.  Luxury linens are still one of the best investments for you as they will provide years of beauty and comfort for years to come.

There is lots of skullduggery going on this month at Table Top & Home.  Angie has set one of the best table settings I have ever seen for Halloween.  She has taken the classic and elegant Le Jacquard Villa Toscane tablecloth and napkin ($279 for the 69” x 98” tablecloth and $21.95 for each napkin) and played them up with inexpensive glass skulls, spider napkin rings, witch’s shoes (stuff them with treats) and the like.  You can see how much fun it would be to join in on this Halloween dinner party!   We have lots of other great decorative items to celebrate the season.   Try toasting with our scull and bat glasses, scatter some creepy apothecary bottles on the kitchen counter, or put a playful Halloween star in your entry.  The possibilities are endless.
